I just had a nerdgasm in my shorts!!
*sigh* so much for me taking the month off to play games.
I've been a fan of the Soul Calibur series since I played it on the DreamCast. I know it wasn't the first in the series, but I was hooked just the same. Knowing there was a 360 sequel on the way was enough for me. I was content to wait, assured that I would be playing SC soon, because that is a must buy for me, even with Street FIghter IV to give it some competition. Now those wonderful people at Namco Bandai have just given me a chubby and made waiting for it a lot harder.
Yesterday they announced 2 secret characters. Yoda and Darth Vader are all set to join in the unbalanced, over-technical 3D fighting fun. Don't be thinking you're going to sit down with your friends and have the Star Wars fight of your lifetime, though. XBox 360 gets Yoda, while Darth Vader will appear on the PS3.

Yeah... this kicks ass.
I was going to pass on SCIV, but I'm not sure that the Star Wars half of my brain will allow me to do so now.
It's the same kind of stunt they pulled with Link and Spawn in Soul Calibur III and the Spartan in DOA4. Very cool, but still a shameless plug of their own.
The Force Unleashed is another one to look forward to (and may actually make me want a Wii).
It may drive me to buy a PS3 so I can get Darth Vader too. I'm going to get one for Gran Turismo 5 anyway. Regardless, I see lots of Yoda ass-kicking in my future. The hard part will be deciding who gets to play as Yoda when me and Sharon play.
Force Unleashed is already in my GameFly queue. It went in my queue the first day I had the account; before there was even a release date. hehehe Although it's likely I'll just buy it instead. You know it's coming out for the 360, right?
omg. please do not be toying with my emotions. hahah.
I WANT DARTH ON THE 360! And I agree with you Tim, I might wind up checkin out the ps3 version as well!
