Rock Band DLC details

Everybody that is anxiously awaiting this game has been wondering one thing.  How are the Rock Band DLC prices going to compare to Guitar Hero's?  Wait no more, Harmonix has released the details along with the first few weeks of content to be released.

It's kind of long, so follow the jump to get the whole story.
It seems that Harmonix listened to the outrage at the pricing of the GH packs and has come with a slightly better model.  The prices are better but not that much better.  You do have to consider that they are making 4 note charts per difficulty level, though, so there is a lot more work involved to these packs.

DLC will be available in 2 flavors, 3 song packs and individual songs.  Unfortunately, it looks like they are seperate entities.  You cannot buy individual tracks from the 3 song packs.  Pricing is $5.49 (440 points) for the 3 song packs, and $1.99 (160 points) for individual tracks.  Harmonix has stated that future songs may cost as little $0.99 (80 points) and as much as $2.99 (240 points), but the majority will be $1.99.

And now on to the actual song lists.
